Voices & Votes II: A New Moral Agenda

UPDATE: video of the conference is now available on-line.

On Friday, October 12, we held Voices and Votes II: Shaping a New Moral Agenda. Co-sponsored by the Yale Center for Faith & Culture, Sojourners, Christianity Today, and Christian Century, the conference featured debates between Jim Wallis, Ralph Reed, Richard Land, Bob Abernethy, David Kuo, Amy Sullivan and more on the most pressing issues in religion and politics.

This past February 10-12, we packed dozens of panelists and hundreds of attendees into Marquand for Voices & Votes: Religious Convictions in the Public Sphere. From the insights of Richard Land and Lamin Sanneh to the dialogue of Ron Sider and Ralph Reed, the conference was a tremendous success. Panels included “The Media’s Dance with Religion,” “Candidates Expressing their Faith: How Much is Too Much,” “The Political Packaging of Religion,” and “The Evolution of the Religious Right.”
