In his column on Sunday, Paul Krugman cited a litany of political appointees whose primary qualifications for office appear to be only their religious convictions. What do we make of this? Professor Mary Habeck is the author of Knowing the Enemy: Jihadist Ideology and the War on Terror, and an Associate Professor of Strategic Studies at the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins. Professor Habeck will be giving a presentation on “An Evangelical Response to the War on Terror,” and leading a discussion thereafter. The presentation will be held in the JED Room from 11:30-1:00. Lunch will be provided.
